MMO studio NCsoft inks deals to publish ‘time survival’ shooter and medieval strategy RPG

The growth of Korean developer and publisher NCsoft seemingly knows no bounds, especially at the tail end of 2024 as additional deals have surfaced that will result in a few more titles coming out under the company brand.

NCsoft announced last week that it’s signed a partnership with Korea’s Mistil Games, which is working on Time Takers (a third-person “time survival” shooter) and GRAY (an online action-adventure title). Time Takers looks to be the first coming out of the two, with a release window set for 2025.

Another promising partnership formed between NCsoft and Polish studio Virtual Alchemy. The latter is producing an upcoming dark Middle Ages strategy RPG called Band of Crusaders, a game that will now be published by NCsoft globally.

“Our goal is to enrich our global pipeline with fresh IPs and bring high-quality gaming experiences to players worldwide,” said NCsoft Co-CEO Byungmoo Park.
