While I personally am not completely sold on Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons (I was never a Cantha Baby, if I can coin that term), I am wholeheartedly happy for fans of this game that have a nice juicy expansion waiting for them in the early months of next year.
And while all of the attention that ArenaNet is giving these days is going to End of Dragons (and also the WvW revamp), the question that’s been rattling around in my head as of late looks beyond the expansion to what’s next. I’ve been wondering if ArenaNet should and will continue to pump out more expansions for Guild Wars 2, or if it’s finally time to put an endcap on the MMO and start working toward Guild Wars 3 (or even another MMO).
More Guild Wars 2 expansions? The next MMO in the series? Or something else? What should ArenaNet do after the dragons are ended?
