It’s time to get started on your final push to Final Fantasy XIV’s next expansion with today’s release of patch 6.55, starting with the final installment of the MSQ story quests. Players will get their first taste of what’s to come in the upcoming expansion and the teases to draw in the Scions for a new adventure. But there’s also the final installment of the expansion’s Hildibrand storyline, which also brings with it the last stage of augmentation for Manderville weaponry.
There’s also a wrap-up quest for the three tribal quests, the conclusion of Tataru’s Grand Endeavor, and numerous PvP adjustment as the newest season of competition kicks off. Check out the full patch notes for all the changes, and don’t feel compelled to rush yourself to completion; after all, you do have a few months before the expansion actually arrives. Whether that will actually encourage anyone to slow down, of course, remains to be seen.
