So the good news for people looking forward to Tarisland is that the developers have consolidated the major feedback from the game’s closed beta test and have responses to several major questions. The bad news may come in the form of some of the answers to those questions, or maybe even in the fact that those answers are available in an eight-minute video with some odd voiceover choices and interesting background music selection.
Substance matters more than style in this case, but the actual substance of these responses may not please some fans; Tencent is confirming for at least the third time that its (new) design intent is to have crafted gear be notably surpassed by raid drops, as well as noting that several mechanisms for trading resources to non-paying players will not be brought into the full game. You can check out the full set of answers in the video just below, and if you’re really looking forward to the game being very much in a raiding-focused mindset… well, you will be happy about these answers.
