Past Fate projects early access launch sometime in the third or fourth quarter of this year

Currently, the sandbox MMORPG Past Fate is in a closed alpha state (except for when it deigns to run open alpha tests). It would appear that developer Icy North is ready to move to its next step if its roadmap projections are hit, as it plans to move towards an early access release near the end of the third quarter or the beginning of the fourth quarter of this year.

The studio is quick to point out that things might change, but the plan is another nine months of closed alpha testing, with content updates including more POIs, more zones, more quests and hidden quests, a new open world dungeon, new bosses, mounted combat, and additional PvP and PvE content.

When Past Fate does enter early access, it will do so with a few more of these additional features as well as the introduction of raids and new professions. What’s arguably most noticeable is the fact that the game won’t be entering into any sort of formal beta state between now and early access. The full roadmap as it currently stands can be viewed below.
