Lost Ark has a news digest video to share with its players, with Amazon offering up a bit more information concerning some of the MMOARPG’s content updates due in September and October.
First, the studio confirms that the Aegir raid that was eyeing an October 16th release will indeed be pushed back to October 23rd instead in order to grant players more time to gear up for the fight. There’s also word of the upcoming ignite servers that launch October 9th to help players progress to endgame faster.
As for the upcoming September 11th patch, that will not only bring the Behemoth raid but also apply some refinements to elixir drops and gear transcendence that were added to the Korean version. These updates make armor transcendence available sooner, remove epic elixirs from the reward pool, and make legendary elixirs available at item level 1600, plus they’ll drop in the Ivory Tower’s normal and solo modes.
The video also confirms that extra progression events for September are on the way; details will come once they’re tied down, but the Arktoberfest event will provide some additional rewards to help move characters to Tier 4 content.
Finally, the video closes with assurances that Amazon is working with Smilegate RPG in order to make Tier 4 progression as stress-free as possible, with adjustments to the Behemoth raid’s item level and reward pool among those efforts. Again, more information is promised later once both studios have firmed things up. We also point out that the style book feature got no mention whatsoever in the video, so that’s presumed to remain delayed indefinitely.
