Grab an Amazing Eternals beta key from Digital Extremes and MOP!

Digital Extremes’ new retro-pulp shooter/TCG hybrid The Amazing Eternals (fka Keystone) has been under heavy development since its reveal last summer, most recently with characters Niia, Worp, and Ray; locations Odona, Multiverse, and Space Map; a new game mode codenamed Daring Delivery; and a nifty feature called mini-boards:

“Mini-Boards have the ultimate reward of granting a Keystone card, which is a special Ability that replaces your usual Q Ability. Mini-Boards will have branching paths for players to progress toward different Keystone Cards. For example, Ray’s Keystone Cards change his Turret to a Healing Station for his allies or a temporary Phase Shift that renders Ray untouchable by enemies for a short time.”

Game looks great and the hero designs are interesting, but those are about the only positive things I can say right now. The gameplay’s rough and clearly in the early stages, and the whole card schtick just doesn’t seem like enough to grab people in a genre already so heavily dominated by Overwatch.

I played a bit after the first round of beta keys. Still dig the aesthetic but the game feels like an alpha version to me. I’ll probably wait until development gets further along before jumping back in.

Went to use the key I just got from here and it says it has already been redeemed. Strange.

Edit: refreshed the page and got a new key. Different error when redeeming this time. Might be a problem with their site.

I got a key on MJ’s stream the other day and played a few games. I will say game play wise it is a fairly run of the mill hero shooter but the aesthetic is amazing and really shines. They nail down that retro sci-fi comic book feel and it is a ton of fun to play around in. I’m all about that ray gun.

Looked interesting at first because of DE (Warframe) but now I’m kinda uninterested.
Here’s my key for your peruse:

Getting an error. Guess I’ll try later.
