Rift of the Damned patch for Riders of Icarus is delayed to September 29

Come fly with me.

A slight delay has hit the next big patch for Riders of Icarus, which was previously scheduled to go live on September 28th. The developers have announced that the patch will instead be deployed on September 29th while the programmers implement ambiguous new changes and fixes to the patch. What specific issues these changes are meant to address is unknown.

The update apologizes for the delay and explains it as a necessary side-effect of testing and identifying issue, although seeing as the delay is exactly one day longer, it doesn’t seem like it would ruin anyone’s plans. Still, if you had taken the day off to play the game from sunup to sundown, you’ll need to nudge that schedule from Wednesday to Thursday.
