NCsoft has finally begun turning on the hype machine for Lineage Red Knights with an English-language website meant for Southeast Asia. Announced last year as one half of a pair of mobile Lineage titles, Red Knights itself is based in the classic Lineage world (not Lineage 2, which takes place over a century later), though the art style has veered into adorable chibi territory and the gameplay isn’t a one-to-one remapping of the original. While NCsoft has made public plans to launch in Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, we don’t yet know whether it’s coming westward (but we’d put money on it).
The studio is promising that “more will be revealed” this weekend and next week on Twitch and at an event in Seoul, but you can head to the official site right now and check out the first episode of the game’s storyline or poke through the trailers below.
