Star Trek Online previews its next featured episode, Echoes of Light

You can try to hide from the rest of the galaxy in Star Trek Online, but even though the galaxy is a very large place, it can also be very small. Sooner or later, things catch up with you. So it’s probably for the best that the heretofore reclusive Lukari species is taking its first tentative steps into exploring the galaxy as a whole. It’s all thanks to the Federation and the Klingons, and you can be right there as it happens with the game’s next featured episode, Echoes of Light.

Of course, the thing about exploring the galaxy is that it’s filled with all sorts of things, not all of them friendly or safe. That means that just accompanying the Lukari on their first steps outward will likely involve finding at least one or two dangerous things along the way. Players of all factions will be able to play through the episode with its launch, complete with special rewards for anyone who completes the mission during its initial three-week launch. So get ready to explore the galaxy… or at least show another race the fun of exploring it.
