Path of Exile looks back on the four years since launch

Up, up, up!
The story of Path of Exile is a pretty good one. Four years on, the game has gone from being a rather unknown little title from Grinding Gear Games to having over 100 people involved in the game’s ongoing development. So how did we get from there to here? Why not read all about it from the perspective of someone who started in the customer service team at the launch and has been there through the whole ride, Bex.

Some of what Bex has to say is well-known to fans, while other bits are just about behind-the-scenes development that players don’t get to see. It covers the road through all six major expansion releases and all of the game’s ups and downs, and there’s a whole lot of pride and affection for the game and its business model in both the initial post and the comments below. So here’s to four years, Path of Exile; we’ll look forward to another four and more besides.
