The latest update for Elder Game’s in-development sandbox MMO Project Gorgon is now live, and in addition to a few new features, it’s got a whole slew of quality-of-life improvements and bugfixes to make things a little smoother for its players. The update adds a new skill, Practical Summoning, which is geared toward crafters whose legs are tired from running to and from their storage vaults to replenish their material stocks. The skill, which can be learned by any character with Teleportation level 12, adds a new feature to the game’s crafting UI that allows players to teleport materials from their storage vaults directly to the crafting station.

The update also brings with it a smorgasbord of UI updates and improvements. The inventory auto-sorting system has been refined, and the inventory UI now displays “hints” by highlighting items “that are useful for [the player’s] current situation.” The main UI has received some love as well: Ability bars can now be locked to prevent them from being accidentally disorganized, and certain buff icons will now “wiggle” when the effect is about to expire to give the player a heads-up that it’s going to need to be refreshed in the near future. Those are the biggest highlights of the patch, but there are a bunch more quality-of-life tweaks and bug fixes as well, so if you want to know all the details, be sure to check out the full patch notes on the game’s official forum.
