If you’re interested in taking The Division 2 for a spin ahead of its March 15th release but weren’t able to take part in the game’s private beta phase, then you’re in luck: Ubisoft has announced that this weekend’s beta will be open to everyone. The beta will be open on all platforms — PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 — from March 1st until March 4th.
The content on display for this test will give players a taste of just about every facet of The Division 2’s gameplay, including storyline and open world missions, PvP content in both the Dark Zone and the 4v4 Skirmish game mode, and one endgame Invaded mission.
And even if you’ve already gotten to play in the private beta, this weekend’s open beta will have even more content on display: The level cap has been increased to level 8, there’s an additional story mission to play, the new Chem Launcher skill, two new settlement projects, and an additional Skirmish map. Players can begin preloading the game through the Uplay client on the morning of Thursday, February 28th, and the beta will kick off in earnest at 4:00 a.m. EST on Friday, March 1st.
