Fans of the original Guild Wars might remember that this past spring we reported on an amateur game designer named Jomo who was looking to recreate his favorite MMO as a single-player, turn-based game. To do this, Jomo used the RPG Maker toolset to replicate the game world and many of Prophecies’ early quests.
The project has been coming along quite nicely since then, and this past week Jomo posted a demo trailer for the Guild Wars: RPG Maker version. Players will spot familiar locations in the game, such as the Ashford Library, and even bump into Sir Tydus, Gwen, and Prince Rurik.
