It’s really unusual that neither NCsoft nor Nexon will be exhibiting this year at South Korea’s G-Star conference in November. This prompted some nervousness about whether or not the convention hall would still be filled without either giant taking up the space, but it turns out that there was no need for worry, as Pearl Abyss has sauntered in to fill up the space. The studio will occupy 200 booths, making it the largest exhibitor present.
Other booth space is filled by companies including Netmarble, Supercell, and LG Uplus (a subsidiary of LG Corporation showing off its 5G cell phone network). It’s not sure just yet what Pearl Abyss will be displaying during the conference, but it seems a given that Black Desert Online and various other projects that have been previously announced will be getting a fair amount of coverage. There are certainly a couple of months left to speculate about what’s taking center stage, at that.
