Conan fans, this unlikely weekend is your moment to shine, as Funcom’s making all the things free free free.
First up is Conan Exiles, normally a B2P survival sandbox – it’s free-to-play starting today through September 23rd, with a half-off sale on Steam for folks who’re enchanted by it.
Then there’s Conan Unconquered, the brutal online RTS that’s still got that shiny new game smell. It’s also F2P for the next three days. “This week the game has been updated, improving the game’s visuals and balancing, as well as adding a new playable hero – Bêlit the Pirate Queen – and new campaign scenarios,” Funcom says. “The price has been adjusted from $29.99 / €29.99 to $19.99 / €19.99 (prices may differ across territories) and will even be available at a 30% discount through the course of the week.”
Finally, Age of Conan is already free-to-play, of course, but it’s offering a Steam free-play weekend anyway, along with a 60% off discount on the Hyborian Conqueror Collection.
So, what about Secret World Legends or The Secret World? How about a little promo there? err… LOL!
What a disgrace. I’m sorry, but to continue to completely ignore those MMOs is tragic.
So I’m gonna buck the trend here and say that I actually like Funcom’s games, including Conan Exiles and Age of Conan. Sorry.
Uh…how does a F2P game gets a F2P weekend?
Maybe all f2p restrictions lifted?
Failcom=a hard pass from me. Not until they make AO completely free.
They wouldn’t need so many free weekends if the characters and animations weren’t so ugly.
Yo dawg, I heard you like Conan…
It’s not free. You still have to download it. When it comes to Failcom’s games, that’s asking too much.
So much gbs to download. I started Conan Exiles’ 47GB dl just to see if my solo game from the last free weekend secretly decayed despite me trying to disable it.
