Star Trek Online patches in improved rewards for daily patrols

Zorp? Phasers don't go zorp.

If you feel like you’re just not getting enough from going on patrol in Star Trek Online before today, apparently the designers agreed. The latest patch for the game (a quick followup to the major Awakening update) has increased rewards for patrol missions run for the first time in the day. Twice as many marks will be awarded for the first run, and 1000 Dilithium Ore (up from 500) will also be awarded for the first run. This should at least make your first round of a patrol more rewarding, although due to known issues a few of the delta patrols are temporarily disabled.

The patch also includes a variety of bug fixes, some of them related to patrols in the game and some of them just being unpleasant issues (like Kelvin Divergence items not being properly bound to account). They’re small changes, but hopefully they’ll be the sort of small changes that are pleasantly beneficial for players rather than neutral or worse. We’ve also got an interview about the game’s latest update and future development, if you hadn’t already seen that.
