Bungie disables a Destiny 2 armor mod that let players endlessly spam their Supers

The Season of Dawn for Destiny 2 has gone live, bringing with it a lot of things to do and stuff to earn, but the sun has set on one particular armor mod that effectively let players chain-fire their Super abilities. Which is, admittedly, very busted but also sounds kind of fun in a way.

The offending armor mod in question is the Dynamo armor mod, a void class mod that reduces Super ability cooldown after the use of a Void-aspected class ability like the Titan Barricade or Warlock Rift. This mod on its own is fine, but the mod could be stacked with the Season of Dawn update, resulting in the ability to continually unleash a Super move, as illustrated in the video tweet embedded below. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you feel about it), the mod has been disabled pending a hotfix; it can still be equipped, but it just doesn’t do anything.

It’s a shame, really. I think this sort of endless Super uptime in a Mayhem PvP mode would be entertaining, but I also contend I’m very likely the minority here.
