It’s time to get ready for another holiday celebration as Final Fantasy XIV rolls out the red carpet with white trim for the annual Starlight Celebration. This year, the celebration is beset by… well, you know how it goes, something is going wrong with the celebration, player characters need to do something to fix it, and since last year was the more ambitious event this one will probably involve either FATEs or just a straightforward questline.
Your big marquee reward is a new outfit for your trusty chocobo, allowing you to dress your bird in appropriately trimmed and elegant style for the holiday. There’s also two wall hangings for housing (including a goobue wreath), a new Orchestrion roll, and some of the previous yearly rewards as well. Players can take part in the event starting on December 18th, so get ready to ring in the season with all of the traditional festivities.Source: Official Site
