The Blood War is raging in Neverwinter, but that in and of itself isn’t particularly noteworthy. The whole thing about the Blood War is that it’s basically demons fighting one another for eternity. That’s how they like it. Of course, the bright side for players of the game is that being down in Avernus gives you a chance for some new heroic encounters, and killing really big demons yourself means you get some neat stuff, right?
There are two new major heroic encounters, pitting players against Commander Lazuul as you struggle to free innocent souls in one while the other sees you facing the forces hoping to release Garmuun the Vile. There are also four new minor heroic encounters, ranging from fighting a war machine to stopping the demon Zamurian from torturing a celestial. If you’re big on smashing demons, these are no doubt great chances to get a whole bunch of demon-smashing done with heroic ends. Of course, you’ll have to wait a little longer until it launches on June 30th, but hey, that’s soon.Source: Official Site
