Legends of Aria is marching forward with today’s release of Season 4: The Shifting Sands as promised, with new dynamic PvE encounters for players to contend with in the Barren Lands and new PvP challenges in the Flat Wilds Chaos Zone.
“Journey throughout the Withering Sands and Flat Wilds to discover new dynamic monster spawns. Mysterious portals will guide your way to encounters against desert-bound creatures including Lizardmen, Beetles, Gorgons, and more. Each spawn features a new mechanic that allows the final boss to scale both in difficulty and and reward based on the number of players completing the spawn. We are excited to pilot this feature during the seasonal content and plan on incorporating it into all dynamic spawn locations in the future.”
The game’s seasonal structure is intended to “reward players for participating in all aspects of the game regardless of their chosen play style” and allow Citadel Studios to test out new game mechanics.
Aria only just left early access a few weeks ago, resulting in a small boost to its playerbase through Steam.
