This. Is. Exhausting.

Despite the appearance, the Venthyr of Revendreth in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands do not really vant to dreenk your blud. They vant to make you a better person because you were kind of awful in life, but there’s the potential for some kind of redemption at the end of the day, hence being tossed into this particular corner of the eponymous Shadowlands. Any blud-dreenking that may occur is more about aesthetic than actual purpose. But you don’t have to take our word for it, as they’re also the focus of the last of the Afterlives shorts.

This particular short give us a look at Sire Denathrius, the ostensible head of the long work of redeeming people within the harsh realm of Revendreth. Of course, it’s hard work to flog the wicked until they manifest virtue once again… but that also raises the question of whether that is actually the goal any longer. Check out the whole thing just below, and if it inspires you to haunt the hallways muttering about how you vant to abzolve the weeked… well, hey, live your bliss.
