Path of Exile’s developers are working at improving Heist rewards and making Heists shorter

Welcome to the Heist.

After about two weeks of elegant heist antics in Path of Exile, the developers are hard at work improving the experience. This includes literal experience, too; right now, Heist enemies are just not providing enough experience for fighting through them. So one of the big areas the team is working on is providing more experience (especially during lockdown) and increasing the overall rewards from clearing objectives and obtaining treasure. It’s not much of a heist if the rewards feel perfunctory, after all.

On top of that, there are adjustments being made to improve the speed of Heists, with the maps planned to top out at the current Tier 1 size and increases just improving the density of rooms and rewards. Players can also expect new bosses this week, further improvements to client stability, and more general polish passes across the board. So there are areas still in need of refinement, but as always, the development team is drilling down to fix them.
