It appears that miHoYo’s Genshin Impact has certainly had an… impact on potential players. (We have fun here.) But the developers are not resting on their collective laurels and assuming that all that needs to be done has already been done; instead, they’re pushing forward with plans not just for the game’s next update of version 1.1, but plans for version 1.2 and 1.3 according to a new development post. The current plan is to aim for a patch roughly every six weeks or so, starting with patch 1.1 on November 11th.

Patch 1.2 follows on December 23rd, with 1.3 currently slated for February of 2021. Furthermore, each new patch will have an associated event; 1.1 brings in the Unreconciled Stars event, while 1.2 brings out the new Dragonspine area and a related event, and 1.3 will kick off the Lantern Rite event series. Check out the full rundown for a clearer picture of the current development timetable if you’ve been enjoying the game so far.
