It’s Christmastime in RuneScape (just in case the advent calendar’s return wasn’t a hint enough) and the game has decked the halls in its weekly update report with word of several festive-minded updates.

First, Violet is back and is once more needing the help of players to uncover the mystery of why Yeti Town is yet to be decorated for the season in the Violet is Blue Too quest. Unlike seasonal quests in other games, this story will be playable all year even after the holidays have wrapped up.

Next, the Yak Track has put on its Christmas best with various season-appropriate rewards like a Robin Reindeer Yak pet, a Chimney Teleport, and a wintry Permafrost Knight outfit reward. Those who buy in to the Premier Pass for two Bonds will also get additional goodies like the Tundral Stalker outfit and Snowflake the winter fairy pet at Tier 50.

Finally, the Ninjas have gifted the gift-giving Diango NPC with clearer messaging and an improved UI. The weekly patch has made a number of other updates like adding the Golden Reaper title and a host of general quality-of-life changes.
