If you look to your left, you will see a sad person.

If you can’t wait to go through the Dark Portal in WoW Classic, you can take heart that you may not be waiting all that much longer. According to a purported leaked internal email from Blizzard (shared by Reddit user zon3tknew3), the beta test for The Burning Crusade Classic servers is set to start at some point this month, meaning most likely either next week or the week after. That’s pretty soon after the announcement!

Lending a little more credence to the timing is the fact that the email in question is about ensuring that friends and family members being admitted to the beta get submitted no later than March 15th, which certainly makes it sound as if the beta will take place that week. Of course, nothing is set in stone without an official announcement, but all of this seems to make it clear that World of Warcraft fans won’t be waiting long to start testing the game’s first expansion all over again.
