MMO game studio comedy Mythic Quest debuts its second season on May 7

Back in January of last year, we reported on the comedy series Mythic Quest, which comes from many of the creators and writers of It’s Always Sunny and Modern Family. The first season of the series released a month later to some generally favorable reactions from many of our readers. Evidently, it was a strong enough debut to warrant a second season, which has been confirmed for release on Friday, May 7th, on Apple TV+.

This new season sees the fictional MMORPG studio’s head Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) and newly promoted co-creative director Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) begin the work of creating the next expansion for the titular Mythic Quest. As one would expect, things don’t start off smoothly as both Ian and Poppy have immediately conflicting visions for the expansion.

While the series is only premiering on Apple TV, we noted when Mythic Quest’s first season aired that the service does offer a seven day free trial, meaning those who are simply looking to binge the series should be able to do so within that time frame, though we do mention once more that signing up for the trial will require credit card details. The series’ second season teaser trailer can be seen below.
