Definitely my favorite out of all the GW2 festivals. While it’s not for everyone, SAB harkens back to an age of gaming that focused on things like joy and fun of play.

If I had my 3 wishes for the SAB, they would be:

1: I wish the devs would invest more time into SAB. Seriously, where is world 3???

2: I wish that SAB was always accessible. I’ve read that the devs did not want SAB taking players away from the actual game. This logic never made sense to me… If players are enjoying your game (regardless of which mode you choose), why is there a problem?

3: Consistency… All great platformers, regardless of setting/mechanics/or graphics, have consistency.

A: In SAB, my character will jump at different speeds seemingly at random, which adds to the frustration of more difficult sections. This might be related to combat speed reductions in the main game. The speed penalty needs a visual que or needs to be removed entirely while in SAB.

B: Collision boxes need serious help. There are plenty of jumping sections that my character should not be able to make. But, if the devs want you to make a specific jump, your character will pseudo-teleport the last little bit onto a ledge. There are other examples; but this post is long enough as it is :)

Super Adventure Box is my favorite festival though. And, it will probably always be my favorite.
