If you thought that Might and Delight was going to give up after launching a tiny MMO to a tiny early access population and not-so-tiny layoffs, you were sorely mistaken: After nearly a year of early access and beta test environment efforts, the Book of Travels team is back to working on improvements to content.
That’s the takeaway from the studio’s latest video, which makes good on its August teases for “vehicular improvements” in the game’s next update, coming “soon.” Vehicles in the game run from trains to boats; the update will make it easier to see when boats and trains are arriving and leaving as well as when they’re due, all in an immersive way, like smokestacks emitting smoke and conductors hollering. Players will also find new boarding passes, the ability to sit down, and the chance to flip through their inventory while riding. Oh yeah, and don’t jump off the train while it’s moving. Apparently some folks needed this warning.
There’s no hard date for the release, so keep your eyes peeled.
