This is one of my favorite end-of-the-year Daily Grinds because new zones are one of my favorite things in MMOs. I just never get tired of seeing new scenery and ideas and maps. And this year, I’m nodding back to Guild Wars 2, specifically for the addition of New Kaineng City.
Now, this is a hard pick for me because End of Dragons added several zones, and I really love Seitung Province a lot, but New Kaineng City isn’t just great; it’s spectacular. It is full of skyscrapers and dank alleys and shining vistas and decrepit architecture, and I just loved the heck out of exploring it.
What would you say was the best new zone added to any MMO in 2022? Lemme hear them!
