Diablo IV trading is still suspended over that dupe exploit

As ARPGs place a premium on the importance of gear, you best believe that any such situation that sees players exploit loopholes to get the good stuff is one that the related studio takes very, very seriously. This is why Blizzard slammed shut trading in Diablo IV after it received reports that a dupe bug was running wild.

“We’ve suspended player trading in Diablo IV until further notice due to a duplication exploit,” the studio said yesterday. “We are working on a fix to amend this issue and will update you once we’ve reinstated the ability to trade. We will continue to monitor this activity to ensure a healthy playing experience for all. Any account that engages in gold and item duplication exploits will be actioned in accordance with our End User License Agreement.”

This comes at the start of its new Season of Blood, its launch on Steam, and a blood donation promotion.
