Old School RuneScape invites players to a frosty piece of Lumbridge in its Christmas event

The normally temperate location of Lumbridge is experiencing a bit of localized snowy weather, which can only mean one thing: It’s Christmastime in Old School RuneScape as the sandbox MMORPG is celebrating the festive season once more.

Players are once again going to encounter Jack Frost, who has turned a small section of Lumbridge into a wintry sports area and needs help testing it out. Players who partake in the event can get themselves thematic goodies such as an icy sweater (or jumper for our UK friends) and a snow globe headpiece, along with a set of hidden achievements to earn. And just in case there are those who are chasing achievement diaries or league points, going after the Christmas cheevos won’t be counted for those tasks; they’re just “a bit of fun” according to Jagex.

In addition to the Christmas event, this week’s patch has made a tweak to how soon Trailblazer points are delivered in-game, fixed a bug related to Traiblazer achievement completion, and made another round of adjustments to the Chambers of Xeric raid.
