Warframe unveils ‘book-wielding warrior of words’ frame Dante, launching in March

January isn’t quite over, but March will be here before you know it, and that month will mean some hopefully exciting things for Warframe players, as the Dante Unbound update will introduce another new Frame, the return of player-designed TennoGen items, and a host of quality-of-life features for the multiplayer action shooter.

The biggest news that’s obviously part of the update is Dante, the 56th Frame described as a classic MMO-like caster and a “book-wielding warrior of words,” which references his exalted spellbook weapon Noctua that lets him attack enemies with spectral pages (apparently). In other Frame news, the patch will also rework Inaros; more details on that are promised soon.

Dante Unbound will additionally see TennoGen cosmetics return, bringing submissions approved last year into the game proper, while the official style guide has also been updated as Digital Extremes seeks submissions for Dagath, Qorvex, and cosmetics styled after the Entrati.

Finally, the update is introducing several updates to the game overall including an expansion for archon shards, an economy balance for the Fortuna Syndicate, and improvements to Duviri and systemic content like Steel Path bounties. The complete livestream can be seen below.
