What the world of Etheirys needs is a summer vacation, but that’s not happening until Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail arrives this summer. Until then, all it needs is love, and that love is arriving when the annual Valentione’s Event starts up on February 7th. If you’ve all gotten enough of shooting hearts at people with the /dote emote from a prior run, you’ll be happy to know that this year is bringing in a brand-new heart emote to help you spread the love even more efficiently.
The event will also award a new heart chair for housing in case you want to sit surrounded by love on all sides. You’ll have two weeks to earn these rewards from Astrid de Valentione, with the event running until February 21st, so if you want to spread the love you will have ample opportunity but you should probably get to it sooner rather than later. Still, who can resist sending hearts to the boss of the next dungeon?
