The juggernaut that is the early access survivalbox Palworld doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon, as developer Pocketpair has once again shared player numbers on Twitter: 19M total across Xbox and Steam, with over 12M of those players on Steam and 7M on Xbox.
Microsoft has also joined in on the Palworld fan train, as the title is now the biggest third-party launch in Game Pass’s entire history. “Across console and Windows PC, Palworld has welcomed more than 7 million players, and has recently reached a peak of nearly 3 million daily active users on Xbox, making it the most-played game on our platforms at that time,” the announcement reads.
The post also promises to continue improving the Xbox version of the title, including creating dedicated servers, getting Xbox updates released faster, and optimizing the game for the platform.
On the subject of improvements, there’s a new patch that attacks a long list of bugs such as game and data crashes in specific situations, Pals and players being stuck in certain ways, and other weird behaviors with damage, Pals, and UI, along with a change of the default interact button, anti-cheating measures, and new keymap functionality. The patch is live for Steam now and is headed to Xbox soon.
