World of Warcraft-inspired Scars of Honor’s latest video sure is something

Last week, after Scars of Honor’s $200K Kickstarter ended unsuccessfully, the Bulgarian team, which had fallen silent through most of the campaign, quickly revived itself to reassure players that it wasn’t giving up. “Although the Kickstarter campaign wasn’t successful, we are continuing to develop Scars of Honor at full speed,” studio Beast Burst said, telling players it had reorganized its development pipeline (presumably with its existing investment) and was continuing to hire.

Now, the team has released a new video that is purportedly a guide to infiltration but is actually one of the most bizarre MMO videos I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been doing this a stupidly long time: The core character makes his way into a camp full of very dumb orcs, framed as a story being told to dwarf recruits recruits, with the whole thing played for laughs – in fact, at one point, there’s literally a laugh track.

At the very least, it shows off character models and maps, we suppose, since it’s mostly in-engine. The whole thing is tucked below.
