Albion Online fans are about to have one hell of an April: Not only are they getting a fresh-start European server, but they’re also getting a huge spring update.

“Berlin, March 25, 2024 – Albion Online, the fantasy sandbox MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive, today announced the release of its next major game update: Foundations,” SBI’s press release says. “Foundations launches April 15, and introduces some features which promise to shake up warfare in Albion in exciting ways.”

As we’ve been covering, those exciting ways include the new fortifications system for territory warfare that ought to give guilds something fresh to do, along with siege banners mechanics, territory chests to encourage players to take risks, new crystal weapons, and finally, the spectator mode.

April will see closed beta for the EU server on April 3rd, followed by open beta April 10th, Foundations on April 15th, EU server headstart on April 24th, and the full F2P EU server launch on April 29th.
