If you’re looking forward to the launch of Tarisland as we – and some of our readers – are, then heads-up because Tarisland is actually opening for downloading tonight, if we’ve done our timezone conversions correctly. By our reckoning, pre-downloads begin on 10 a.m. UTC+8 on June 20th – which is 10 p.m. EDT tonight for those of us here on the East Coast. The timing does get a bit weirder for Europeans, as that’s 4 or 5 a.m. for you folks.
Tencent has up a dedicated post with timestamps for all of the servers around the world with conversions; by the chart, launch for North America is 11 a.m. EDT on Friday, June 21st.
“Season 0, Mystery of the Hollows, is to launch alongside Tarisland on June 21, and a total of 9 Classes, including the Warrior, Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian Fighter, Bard, Priest, Mage, Shadow Swordsman, and Phantom Necro, will be available for players to experience,” the studio reminds would-be adventurers. “Each class comes with 2 sets of specialization talents and 8 main Ultimates. Season 0 also offers five 5-player dungeons, eight 10-player raid bosses, and multiple PvE modes including the Arcane Realm, Universal Hall, and Dark Invasion.”
There’s also a freebie pet in it for you: a siamese cat for players who download and claim it in-game (which I guess is everyone?), and a pet dog and unicorn mount for folks who pre-registered (and I think you can still do that).
