Gosh-darn it all, who let the spiders have a queen? Tarisland has just added a new raid boss, the Spider Queen, and that means the game is going to be dealing with arachnid nobility for years to come. Players are going to have to spend ages organizing charts of intermarriage and spider descent. It will not be pleasant. On the plus side, if facing a difficult raid which requires increased player coordination is fun for you, fighting the Spider Queen herself will be a fun time.
The game has also kicked off a new speedrun challenge complete with raffles and a leaderboard for clearing challenge dungeons as quickly as possible. Prizes include everything from a new iPhone to a new PlayStation 5 (which, ironically, is not a platform you can use to play Tarisland) to in-game healing potions. If you want to blitz challenges fast and early and you’re already playing the game, hey, why not see how fast you can go?
