Usually people aren’t happy to see a list of tasks arrive to them, but in the case of Albion Online, there are ideally lots of players who are happy to see the Albion Journal and its to-do list, which is the headlining portion of the newly released Paths to Glory update.

For those who haven’t looked at this feature’s earlier preview, the Albion Journal is effectively a lineup of achievements designed around multiple activities in the game, offering themed rewards for players who complete the tasks within. The journal also provides some mission tracking features to help guide players along.

Another large part of the patch is a new dynamic spawn system that tweaks the amount of treasure, resources, and mobs that appear at a given time based on each server’s activity levels, along with adjustments to zones and content within the Roads, the introduction of tracking, and a new boss to fight.

Finally, Paths to Glory applies several quality-of-life updates like unlocking all of a weapon’s spells at Tier 4, new crystal weapons, the ability to overcharge items twice, and the ability for guilds to own multiple islands. All of the nitty-gritty details lie within the patch notes.
