The time has once again come for fans of Star Citizen to stump for their favorite internet spaceships and ultimately see which one is crowned best in show. The annual Ship Showdown community event is back once more, starting off with the community call portion that asks players to create content like songs, videos, models, artwork, and more between now and August 13th to determine which ships in various classifications will move on to voting on August 15th.
CIG is otherwise continuing to keep its players engaged with its typical stream of previews, including a sneak peek image that appears to be teasing some engineering gameplay and last weekend’s Star Citizen Live video that featured one of the lead environment artists putting together a POI location.
