Do you want to build an MMO but lack either the access to venture capital sufficient to fund it or the willingness to grift people on Kickstarter for a game that will be lucky to launch four years late and several hundred features cut? Well, there’s another way. Or there will be, once Let’s Build A Dungeon is released. Coming from developer Springloaded, the same studio behind Let’s Build A Zoo, the new Let’s Build A Dungeon is all about creating your own MMO, adjusting things like drops and enemy strength in real time, and doing everything possible to keep players in your game merrily grinding away.
Players can either take on the game’s Campaign mode or the more open-form sandbox Creative mode, and supposedly you can even jump in on a player level to see what your fans are experiencing. (Though with slightly fewer offers to buy gold, we imagine.) There’s currently no confirmed release date for the game, but fans of the concept for both PC and Xbox hopefully won’t have to wait too much longer for a release date, especially since more information is promised at Gamescom.
