Dungeonborne adds a 3v3 PvP mode, new class skill, and a new gear tier in latest update

The updates keep on a-comin’ for the free-to-play PvPvE extraction RPG Dungeonborne, which has a new patch out this week that introduces some new gameplay, a new healer ability, and a fresh set of gear to gather.

The major piece of this update is Clotho’s Trial, a new limited-time PvP arena that pits two teams of three against one another in a best-of-seven brawl. Rewards for taking on this mode include a unique killing effect, epic level gear, and the Flawless title, while the top 50 combatants will get extra goodies. The mode is available to play from now until September 16th.

On the subject of gear, the patch introduces the new exceptional gear rarity, which is intended to bridge the gap between epic and legendary level items as well as provide the opportunity for more nuanced builds and potentially shake up the game’s meta.

Finally, there’s a new healing skill being granted to the Druid class that provides HoT that’s intended to give the Druid a new facet to its place in the party without usurping the Priest class’ more on-demand healing. Lining up with this new Druid button is a nature constellation event with druidic and nature themes. The patch notes detail these updates and more including class balance tweaks, general changes, and bug fixes.
