Destiny 2 might be looking ahead to its Codename Frontiers release strategy through 2026, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things happening in the more immediate future, which is what Bungie is reminding players in its latest weekly newsletter.
The immediate horizon for the looter shooter brings the Revenant episode on October 8th as well as a new dungeon opening on October 11th. Information on this upcoming delve is sparse right now, but the studio does at least confirm that it will have a contest mode. In the meantime, more information is promised “in the weeks ahead.”
The newsletter otherwise calls attention to the exotic weapon mission that arrived earlier in the week while noting that getting all of its perks and catalysts will require a bit of digging to gain. It also calls attention to the Bungie Foundation’s arrival to TwitchCon and shows off the neat sword things players did during last week’s sword celebration mini-event.
