Huntworthy.

It’s just about time for players to get together and go hunt some monsters once again because Monster Hunter Wilds is starting an open beta this week. You will hunt monsters. That’s the whole premise. The open beta runs through November 3rd on all available platforms, but PlayStation Plus subscribers got to start off a little earlier than others, with the open beta starting for them last night on October 28th at 11:00 p.m. EDT. Everyone else (including non-subscribers on the PS5) will be able to jump in on October 31st at 11:00 p.m. EDT, right after you’ve finished trick-or-treating and/or snagged all your kids’ candy.

Players can take part in three different options within the beta. You can make your character (which will transfer to the full game), get a peek at the game’s story mode, or even take on a free-ranging hunt for Doshaguma either solo or with up to three other players via co-op. There are a few more details to be found in the full showcase just below, so if you’re eager to hunt in the wilds? Check it out and keep your powder dry for the open beta.
