Who’s ready for a new tank option in Overwatch 2? And what if that tank option was like Mega Man but big, muscly, and Scottish? That’s just what you’re getting in the near future as Blizzard has officially unveiled its newest hero Hazard, a mountain of a man who leads the Phreaks gang (no, not those Freaks) and sports a gun for an arm and power augmented by an unstable substance known as vanadium.
The announcement trailer for the character effectively showcases Hazard’s origin as he and his gang raid a Helix base to steal – and then use – the substance after being ambushed by guards.
Hazard’s reveal follows a pair of apparent teases made by Blizzard earlier, but so far all that’s known is his general backstory. That will change this weekend, however, as the character will be available to trial for a few days starting Friday, November 22nd, until Monday, November 25th. More details are likely coming at some before then as well, but for now we can all enjoy some cinematic trailer goodness below.
