There’s more than one MMORPG that’s pitting players against evil turkeys. The PC version of Black Desert is also getting in on the foul fowl fun with its own Thanksgiving-themed event that’s returned for another year. Hey, we’ll take it ahead of the Christmas event deluge!
For those who aren’t familiar, this event will task players with defeating at least five targargas (smaller turkey foes) in order to summon King Targargo (the big boss boi). Once players have survived threats like the falling giant turkey egg and flocks of ticked-off turkeys, they’ll need to break the giant egg in order to claim various rewards like buff-granting food items, goodies that can be sold for millions of silver, gold bars, and materials. The turkey battles run from now until December 5th at specific times.
While turkey would be more than enough for the patch, there is more this week for PC players, including another event that sees treasure bundles drop from monsters; some adjustments to classes with a particular focus on Succession Musa, Succession Mystic, and Succession Sage; the opening of royal workshops that let players craft sellable goods in the Land of the Morning Light; and updates to hunting and farming, among other things.
On the subject of class updates, that’s the primary feature for this week’s BDO Mobile patch, with new ancient power abilities added for the Legatus, Scholar, and Sage classes. The patch has also made some updates to the branch relic, a few UI improvements, and some bug fixes. It’s not a boss turkey-sized update, but it’s still worth noting.
