If you weren’t already in the Pax Dei headstart, then today is your day: The sandbox MMORPG has formally launched out of early access and “opening this new chapter” for the “true beginning” of the game.

“Since October 14, our Founders have been exploring the new shards, settling plots, and beginning their stories,” studio Mainframe Industries notes. “The world is already alive with adventurers, many of them ready to welcome new players into their clans, share tips, and help you get started. We highly recommend checking out the clan menu in-game and applying to a clan that suits your play style. Becoming part of a stable group will supercharge your experience.”

The game has actually seen a noticeable upturn over the founders beta, shifting from a peak of under 400 players last month to a peek of more than 10 times that number now. In fact, Pax Dei hasn’t seen even close to that many players since June and July of 2024. Note that the game is not F2P, so you’ll have to pony up around $24 to hop in.
