The Battlegrounds mode of Hearthstone isn’t as concerned with balance so much as it wants to provide a wild set of auto-battling madness. So it’s easy to shake things up by, say, rotating around which heroes are available for players. Giantfin, Millificent Manastorm, King Mukla, and Lich Baz’hial have all rotated out of standard play, but in their place are Brann Bornzebeard, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, Elise Starseeker, and Sindragosa, each with their own distinct powers to deploy on your auto-battling minions.
The patch has also adjusted several of the minion tiers; Murlocs and Demons have had some nice options moved down a tier, while Junkbot was declared too powerful at Tier 4 and has thus been bumped up to Tier 5. Another balance patch is planned for the mode in December, but until then players can enjoy the chaos extant in the new lineup of heroes and minions with only minimal strategic input.
