Corepunk opens its doors for its second alpha test today

It’s time for 10,000 lucky invitees to hop into the latest alpha test build of Corepunk today, as the second alpha for the MMOARPG is opening up today at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

According to the game’s Discord, there will be servers located in four regions of the globe: Europe West, North America East, North America West, and South America East. Emails with keys will be sent out before testing begins in waves of 1,600 invites every 30 minutes, so everyone whose name was drawn from the hat should get their invites after three and a half hours. Do note that includes the first 3000 people who commented on the official site as instructed.

This new iteration of the game is promising some new layers to character progression and hopefully will also bring changes based on player feedback from its last closed test. The length of this second alpha isn’t tied down, but Corepunk is still angling for a late summer early access release, so testing probably won’t be too long if developer Artificial Core hopes to hit that timeline.
